Reading is loved by many. Books are a common source of entertainment and escapism but readers aren’t all the same. Readers are a varied bunch. Read on and recognise yourself.
It does us good to think about why we make our decisions. This is important for any job, including being a writer. Time to contemplate my reasons.

Books come in many flavours. Don’t tell me what to read or not read. You may find yourself wearing a book in the most uncomfortable of places. Book snobs consider yourselves banished!
With age comes wisdom. Believe that and you’ll believe anything. What age has done for me though is shown that striving for perfection is a fruitless and tiring exercise.
I love certain words and phrases. If I could, I’d fill my writing pieces with them but that would be a dull shenanigan, from a numpty cockwomble, who’s blagging this blogging malarkey.
We all have to wait for things sometimes, although cats work to their own schedule. I may be young but I’m a wise feline. Take my advice and get through those waiting times.
